Online Training Seminars MapInfo
Corporation is now offering subject- specific
training seminars online. These web-based training
courses use a combination of presentation, demonstration, and exercises that will quickly get you up and running with MapInfo products,
and are quick and easy to complete.
Courses cost only $40.00 each, and are
self-paced so you can take as much time as you
need. Each lesson consists of text and multimedia components in
an Introduction, Tell Me About, Show Me How, and Exercise
section.
The Introduction provides a summary of the lesson contents and an overview of the main objectives. An embedded introductory video provides this overview and will give you a good idea as to what you can expect from the rest of the lesson contents.
The Tell Me About presentations are typically informational and provide an overview on a particular topic or function.
The Show Me How presentations are actually step-by-step tutorials on how to perform a specific function within our software. These tutorials are displayed in a pop-up window which can be viewed and paused as needed so that you can actually perform the steps in tandem with viewing the presentation.
Most lessons are followed by a self-paced exercise which contains written directions on how to further practice or a review a given skill.
